Q: Do you sell replacement pens?

A: Not at the moment. It cost a bloody fortune to get The Garie off the ground, and the minimum order for replacement pens is 5,000 units (yeah... not ideal). The good news? A standard pencil works perfectly on the LCD screen, so you're never stuck.

Q: My pen keeps falling out or is hard to remove.

A: Give it a proper shove when you put it back in—it clicks in securely. To remove it, push up on the tip of the pen, not backwards. It'll pop straight out without chewing up your fingers.

Q: Do you make a 10m tape?

A: Not yet. We currently make an 8m tape with a massive 3.6m standout, which is more than enough for most jobs without lugging around a brick.

Q: What happens if I leave the screen in the sun?

A: Just like your phone, the LCD screen can overheat if it's left baking in the sun for too long. Treat it like any other screen—keep it out of direct sun when you're not using it. We're also working on replacement screens for the future.

Q: "You know you can just write on the side of a normal tape measure?"

A: Yep... and you can also use a water level, ride a horse to work, and take your lunch in a brown paper bag. Doesn't mean we haven't invented something better. 😂
